Delays caused through loss of luggage or airline issues where the driver is required to wait, waiting time charges will apply.
Waiting periods for all other pickups are 10 minutes from booked pick up time.
All waiting time is charged at AUD$1.00+GST per minute for sedans, AUD$1.50+GST per minute for all other types of vehicles.
If you are unable to locate your designated Chauffeurs 24-7 driver contact us on 0411 518 905 (24hrs) immediately. Failure to notify us will result in a ‘no show’ with the booking being billed in full along with additional waiting charges. Your credit card will be debited with the relevant charges incurred or invoiced for account customers. Our driver will remain at the booked pick up location 1 hour after the scheduled pick up time.
Credit card details are required as security against all bookings, not applicable to account customers. If you need to make a change to your booking after a booking confirmation we will do our best to accommodate you, however if the change or changes alter the structure of the booking, charges will be made accordingly where applicable (48hrs notice is required where changes are extremely different from original booking). For additional charges incurred, you will be supplied with a further invoice confirming this and agree to authorize Chauffeurs 24-7 to debit your credit card for the additional charges incurred.
We will take into consideration reasons beyond your control if you must change your travel itinerary and Chauffeurs 24-7 will make every effort to accommodate this.
Bookings will only be confirmed when notified by Chauffeurs 24-7 and receipt of payment in full. Full payment must be made no less than 48 hours prior to the booking date via credit card or fully cleared transferred funds into our account.
All bookings are considered transfers, point A to point B, and has been quoted as such, any deviation from the quoted itinerary may incur further costs, charges will be made to the credit card used to secure the booking and invoice supplied outlining the extra charges
MasterCard (3% surcharge applies), Visa Card (3% surcharge applies), American Express (10% surcharge applies) accepted.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to be cleared within 48 hours of the booking.
MasterCard, Visa Card, American Express payments must be received 48 hours prior to the booking.
All accounts must have a regular minimum monthly spend of $500. Upon full completion and acceptance of our Account Application Form, trading terms will be 14 days from invoice date or as pre agreed with Chauffeurs 24-7. Payments made outside our trading terms will incur interest calculated at 24% per annum or 2% monthly.

General terms & conditions apply to wedding bookings. 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking and the balance must be paid a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Bookings for all vehicles or ancillary requirements for the wedding will be required to make payment in line with our wedding booking policy. At least 14 days written notice is required for cancellation of the booking prior to the scheduled booking date to obtain a full refund. Cancellations made with less than 14 days’ notice will not be entitled to a full refund.
Wedding vehicles involved in the wedding party, can be supplied with white/ivory ribbons. Should alternative colours be required Chauffeurs 24-7 can supply at your cost or alternatively you can supply to us, Chauffeurs 24-7 reserve the right not to use ribbons supplied to us by clients if we feel they may damage the vehicle, ribbons supplied by you will be returned at the end of the hire period.
Cancellations require more than 24 hours’ notice prior to the date of travel and confirmed in writing via email. Any deposits or payments made will then be refunded in full (bookings for Weddings and public holidays, Christmas Eve/New Year’s Eve are excluded). Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full applicable fee for the transfer.
Cancellations for bookings on public holidays and Christmas/new years’ eve require a minimum of seven (7) days’ notice for a full refund, it is at the discretion of Chauffeurs 24-7 whether a part refund will be made if cancelling within this seven (7) day period, full payment will be charged for any cancellation made with 48hrs or less for these days
Cancellations for weddings, in the event of cancellation a proportion of the deposit will be retained for services rendered, commensurate with time spent in preparation for the event, remaining monies will be refunded upon receipt of written acknowledgement of cancellation.
Please be assured Chauffeurs 24-7 are renowned with an on-time service, however in the unlikely event of our drivers being late due to circumstances outside our control, liability will not be accepted by Chauffeurs 24-7.
We shall not be liable for any loss or delay caused due to any of the following: strike action, industrial disputes, riots, fire, flood, political unrest, hostilities, terrorism, war or the threat of war and technical/weather issues with airlines or ferry /ship operators, weather conditions or any other event beyond our control.
Each vehicle has a legal number of passengers they can carry, please visit our vehicle pages to familiarise yourself with these.
Luggage capacity will vary between vehicles, most sedans will comfortably fit two suitcases and two hand luggage in the spacious boot, for insurance and safety reasons Chauffeurs 24-7 vehicles are not permitted to carry luggage within the cockpit of the vehicle as this can be fatal in the case of an accident or evasive manoeuvres should they arise.
Any excess luggage transfer will be the responsibility of the client.
If it is necessary for our chauffeurs to overnight, accommodation will be charged at $330.00 GST inclusive per night.
Car parking and any event entrance fees will be charged at cost.
All travel is to be on sealed roads only.
At Chauffeurs 24-7 we maintain our cars to a high standard, should the situation arise where the vehicle has been soiled and can no longer be used for hire, the hirer will incur charges to return the vehicle to the standard at time of hire, Damages to the vehicle will be charged to the client and potential loss of earnings may be pursued.
Alcohol or food may not be consumed in our luxury sedans, our stretch and wedding cars however have the provisions to keep drinks cold, it is against the law for Chauffeurs 24-7 to supply alcohol, byo only, restitution due to soiling of the vehicles will be at the hirers’ cost.
Chauffeurs 24-7 and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle, or any other passenger(s).
It is compulsory by law that all passengers wear seat belts when the vehicle is in motion.
Smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted at any time.
No pets are permitted in vehicles.
At all times our drivers will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road traffic laws, traffic and road conditions, the driver reserves the right to deny access to a venue that they feel may put the passengers and vehicle in an unsafe situation.
Clients/Passengers acting in an anti-social manner, causing unwarranted distraction to the driver or generally causing concerns regarding safety will be asked to leave the vehicle and seek alternative transport to their destination. No refund will be offered in these circumstances.
All Chauffeurs 24-7 vehicles are comprehensively insured and have public liability insurance. While every effort will be made to ensure the safekeeping of your personal items our insurance does not cover your personal belongings, please be sure to have your own travel insurance.
We shall try to deliver any items left in the vehicle back to the hirer at their expense or they may be collected from our office. We cannot be held responsible for any personal items left in the vehicles during or after hire.
Chauffeurs 24-7 drivers are proven to exceed expectations and will accept tips if you deem it necessary
Chauffeurs 24-7 do not accept responsibility for injury, sickness, or death of person(s), except where an employee of Chauffeurs 24-7 causes such death, injury, or sickness.
